I've finally managed to get a session with a gender therapist that I've been trying to reach for a couple of months already.

The guy is a psychiatrist from McGill General Hospital in Montreal and is the head of the "Human sexuality unit". From what I have understood, he is the only gender specialist in Montreal who can seriously help me in figuring out whether or not I am transsexual or need transition. When I got on the phone with him, he told me that helping people figuring out was exactly what he did, so it's pretty encouraging.

Can anyone tell me a bit about how he'll do that? Are there things that I can do to be more prepared for this session? (Like writing down on paper some bits about my childhood and stuff like that...). I really have high hopes that this guy can help me in getting out of the mist. Right now, I don't really care in what direction my life has to go, I just want to know it!
