Big Freedia turns S.F. club into a bounce house

Recognizable by her side-swept bangs and imposing stature, Big Freedia was born male but now refers to herself as a woman. Like many other bounce musicians, she self-identifies as a "sissy," a word that's been positively reappropriated by the New Orleans gay community.
