Regrowth of breast tissue after surgery.

Hey guys, had my consultation with my chest surgeon the other day and he explained many things and answered a lot of questions I had. One of the more interesting things he mentioned was that it is necessary to leave some breast tissue to avoid a sunken or concave profile on the finished chest, which is one of the main differences between this kind of surgery and that of a cancer patient's mastectomy (in which all breast tissue is completely removed). He went on to explain that if I were to stop my T, there is a chance that the breast tissue may re-grow slightly.

Just something to bear in mind I suppose, for anyone who is thinking of not remaining on T for life.

I notice this is old, but my doctor told me the same.  She said she leaves a minimal amount there so that sunken ordeal doesn't happen.  I have YET to read or hear of anyone's chest 'growing back,' but have seen one case where the guy gained weight and it really landed back on his chest. :/  It does make sense though-- if you have your cycle returning with the wave of hormones that it could "boost" what is left giving it that firmer appearance.
