They are guity of Identity theft. They have stolen Christ's name and did things in his name to make the world hate him. I will never clam to be a Christian so long as this is going on.

I also was guitly of this because I was with them and doing the same.

I can completely understand your frustration.  What amazes me is how the man that loved the poor, loved the tax collectors, paid the temple tax, and fed the hungry became what too much of the church business says he is.



All that said, I learn daily - I'm not the person I was a few years ago (literally, thank God!).  I used to believe hook-line-and-sinker in the garbage groups like Focus on the Family spouted.  I voted against equality.  I think I was still a Christian then, albeit a deceived one.  And I suspect I'll find out I'm deceived even today about things.  All Christ expects from me is to be open to His view of the world.  It's not an instant process, it's one that takes - literally - an eternity.

But in the meantime, I certainly will pray both for myself and for the Focus on the Family type Christians.

Ironic that you would say that because while he was being crucified they were saying the samethings.

It had to be done this way to fullfil the scriptures
"He saved others, but he could not save himself"
"If you be the son of God come down of the cross"
"you crucify to yourselves the son of God afresh putting him to an open shame."
"in who's eyes Christ has been evedently set forth crucified among you"

what they dont know is he has made them into a prison to hold all of the lies that they have told about him. they are prisoners of their on thoughts. be thankful that you are not with them. He chose to set free them that were being crucified with him. namely us because he died to take away the things that they were accusing us of. He does not look on the outward appearnce he looks at the heart. they did not keep the only commandment that he gave them. love your naughber as yourelf. everyone learned to keep that commandment and stayed away from them. you have showed love toward God by hating them that hated God so he kept you from their judgement. every word that they spoke came on their on head.

he left them the same way he left the Jews 2000 years ago looking for the coming of the Messiah (Christ).

Conversely, it wasn't that Jesus "could not" have remained in the grave, He would not!!

In a very real sense, our lives as trans gendered people are a Resurrection Experience if we will take it as such and go with it.  We have had to die to our false selves and be raised in our new awareness of self with its potential for more completeness in our own spirits.  If you demand a personal miracle, thats a close as I can come with one, I have even had a friend I came out to recently who told me that they were a little awed by what they saw and felt coming from me in my resurrected self and now need to find something in their own life where they can experience the same overwhelming renewal of self.

I do agree fully that Jesus' Name has been hijacked in too many places and while people take His Name rightly as one of POWER, they look to it for the wrong power and want it to become power over the things of this world, and not over themselves.  I do belong to a church and am a member of a congregation that accepts me even in my "resurrected" self, so it is possible.

I agree that there are many that call themselves Christian but few that appear to be part of the body of Christ.
I disagree with the vast majority of that which is called Christianity.
Sorta makes me an outcast too.
I do agree that the Lord or His Father could have stopped the crucifiction.
It saddens me to read about what He suffered but I am thankful He did.
I am also thankful that He arose from the dead and sent back the Holy Ghost to guide those who do love and trust Him.
