well I followed your advice and didn't ignore this thread, I couldn't do anything more than read the text and the results are: my misanthropic feelings have sky-rocketed. No selectivity just everyone, ->-bleeped-<-ing hate people with an unrelenting passion.

I think that is part of the problem.

Hate is easy.
Love is so damn difficult.

But without love we as a species are lost.

Signed the petition.

I really don't think I'll ever understand the thought process of what they did to that girl. Or of any long term hate, really. No one kill me, but I'm not really mad at the people who did that; I'm extremely disappointed and confused to how they could get to that point of hate.

I really do hope proper punishment is given.

So very, very confused, though. Hate is such a strange emotion.

When you hate those who hate, no matter the reason why, you become them.

Those responsible will have to answer for what they did, on top of any punishment they recieve for their actions, they will have to answer to those capable of administering the most severe punishments... themselves. Conscience, guilt and remorse are powerful things and the more time passes, the stronger they become.

I don't think it's wrong at all, they hate because they're prejudice bigots I personally hate them for being like that. If that makes me just as bad as them then holy ass ->-bleeped-<-ed ->-bleeped-<- shoot me now!
Sure it's a nice sounding sentiment but when you look beyond the surface there is a difference in the motives and justifications of the hate.

Justification of hatred doesn't make it right. Everyone has a justification. Hating them won't make them change, or stop their hatred. It won't make them better people, it will only take away from the person you are. As the saying goes: why fight fire with fire when firefighters use water?
