My boobs started growing a while back, as expected I have the pains in the breast area, but the skin is also very itchy from time to time. Does anybody know if this is normal?

Itching is usually from the skin stretching if I recall.  I get it all the time.

Yes, it is normal  :)  Mine totally itched for quite awhile... It seems to be an indicator of a growth spurt

Mine have slowed down a bit now, but still itch sometimes

So good to know, thanks! And the growth spurt, yes, that defenately seems to be what's happening :)

Mine itch off and now even now at 35 months.  I imagine they will for a while longer.

Yep, that's a good sign. No worries. ;)

What's good to ease it - Vitamin E? (not happening to me for a while yet, just curious...)

Yes, I have been scratching for the last month! Just wait until the growth behind the nipple starts and even the seat belt hurts!

IMO the itching is from skin stretching. I notice it in different places and then a couple of days later I catch a glimpse in the mirror and notice a subtle shape change in some part of my body.

Mine have been itching for a few days now. I'm guessing it's normal.

I'm sure it wouln't hurt to make sure the skin is well moisturized with something like Palmers Cocoa Butter which is used by many women during pregnancy to help with stretch marks on the tummy. I have had pain and tenderness but not much itching, so far.

Mine get really itchy too, and I just recently started with HRT.

Been itching the past couple days now and I'm glad to hear it's a good sign!

Come to think of it, they've been protruding a little more obviously as of late...

Curiousity here..  I never much think about "the other side" of hormones.  How long does it take to notice growth in the chest?

Yup... It can get annoying after awhile.  :-\

I too itch alot and have the sharp pains when I hit them on something. Most days they just seem very small to me but the other day I bent over to grab a heavy box and Ouch-my nips got there sooner than the rest of me and caught me by surprise. Now when I bend over they hang down so I know without a doubt they are growing.  Last week I noticed an itch on the outside quarter of the right breast and this week the surface on that side of my nipple is about 1/8th of an inch higher than before and my nip is larger too. The itching I could do without but it means there is growth.

And once I begin rubbing my titties I can hardly bring myself to stop, it feels sooooo amazing! What a turn-on!! It's far better than what I remeber rubbing my penis used to feel like when I still had it :-)

The simplest way I've found to limit the itchiness is to go topless.

Going topless, or wearing a bra that is sized right are both ways to minimize the itch. I find that the itch just happens sometimes, even when topless. I have recently discovered that the Vaseline brand Intensive Rescue Clinical Therapy cream applied in very small amounts and worked into the nipple well gives great relief from the itch for about 12 hours. The one I bought is unfragranced. After 3 days of washing the nipples and re-applying it each morning and night, the itch is pretty much gone.

It was driving me nuts. I hope you find this helpful.
