intresting phd found on internet

erm im not really sure what catergery to post this in, so if its in the wrong one please move it to the right one.

I found this Phd while reseaching away on bronze age poetry, but it seemed very relevent to transsexuals. Its about the word archelogy of the word elf. The guy who wrote it tracks the word right back into dark ages, and traces the gender changes of the word from female in the middle ages to male in the dark ages, and sugests that they were some sort of role model for transgenderd people in the culture back then. It takes a while of reading it to get to this bit towards the end as he does his work in tracking every use of the word in the language to get to this conclusion.

I think it goes quite well with that find that was badly mis reported a few weeks ago (the gay caveman one).
