transgender holidays in Thailand

Hi to everybody! I am not native speaker so forgive my limited english..

Living in Thailand and working as travel agent, i created recently some packages specially designed for transgender -crossdresser people. The inspiration for this gave me a close friend of mine that just come out to me as transgender after 25 years of friendship .So, she  told me that it could be usefull to make -with her guidence- some special trips in Thailand that they will cover some special needs that trangenders and crossdressers may have, and i speak mainly about safety. Working very hard together we are happy to say that we managed to create something really good.

In some other transgender forum that i posted about this, some people reacted negativelly, even without open the link, thinking that holidays especially for transgender is discrimination, they claimed that i want to put the trangender in a ghetto condition etc..but this is not the case.

Thailand is the most open minded place in the world regarding to transgender people- half million Thais are transgender themselves- but even there sometimes you need to know the hotels that you will be hundred per cent safe and they will  let you to dress as you like, the clubs without narrow minded agressive young tourists, the places to find clothes in your numbers,the hospitals with the best doctors in case you want to do some change to yourself.

So, we created a google site, with these kind of informations, plus a lot of info about Thailand . Because the whole thing is really unique-i think the first of its type-, i really made it with care and after a lot of research and is really something interesting..i hope i will be allowed to post it here

I've had a look through your web site and I have to say I think it's a wonderful idea.

One of the things I always admire so much about much of Asia is how local enterprise and opportunity are driving the pursuit of individual freedom. It's little wonder that the Asian economies are developing while 'western' economies continue to sink into a deeper mire.

For a number of years, I've searched the web for holiday facilities such as these. Practically nothing exists other than a few seedy hotels in some of the poorer areas of our larger cities.

I shall save this link for future reference.

You did nice work with this site,i also think it is a wonderful idea.In the USA they have coined the term "pink dollars" referring to GLBT traveler's.It just give's me the impression that all they want is our money.

I looked at your website.  Looks fantastic, great job.  Perhaps there is an area on susan's place, laura's playground or other sites on which you could "advertise" to the transgender community. Perhaps some LBGT publications or magazines etc.  I haven't been to Thailand yet, but it looks beutiful.  Perhaps i'll have to make a trip some day.   If so, I'll look up your site and give you a call.
