RIDGEFIELD -- Artist Nancy Moore, the parent of a transgender son, is the curator and chairwoman of a new art exhibition, "Continuum: Gender Identities," opening Saturday at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists, 34 Halpin Lane. A reception will be held from 6 to 9 p.m.

Running through June 3, the show is based on the concept that each of us exists somewhere on the continuum between male and female. For some of us, that space is clearly defined; for others, it's more fluid. Some of us move freely about in the world in our given skin; others shed that skin and create a new one.
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde
