I wish this was an Onion inspired post.

Last night there wasn't much on TV so I watched an episode of Discovery Channel's "Engineering Disasters."  They say that insanity is doing things the same and expecting a different result.  If so there is plenty loose among those repairing New Orleans' levees. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so frightening.

The Category 5 Hurricane,  Katrina caused $Trillions damage because the flood protection walls built after the Category 3 Hurricane in the 1960's were overwhelmed.  The work they are doing now to repair and replace the damaged walls is going to cost $30 Billion or so.  Cheap I guess.

And then they delivered the punch-line.

Especially when US Army Corps of Engineers are building levees and walls to protect against a CATEGORY 3 Hurricane, because they were not asked to do anything more.   ??? ::)

God help you poor buggers in New Orleans.
