Bring up the subject of gender, and everyone has stories, whether societal or parental pushes or expectations, opportunities lost or gained due perceptions of others, emotions denied, or how they do, or don't, "fit in."

Nancy Moore of Ridgefield thinks these are good stories to share, and examine. To help encourage what she is calling "a big conversation in a small town," she has curated a show titled Continuum: Gender Identities, which opened with a reception at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists Saturday, April 30, and remains on view through June 3.
