Salamon's "An Ethics of Transsexual Difference" from Assuming a Body

I recently encountered Gayle Salamon's "Assuming a Body: Transgender and Rhetorics of Materiality" and thought it might give me a new way of talking about divergent bodies in sports. I focused on the third section of the book entitled Transcending Sexual Difference, and though this was a challenging read for me, Salamon's validation of the conventionally marginalized transsexual body may turn out to be quite influential to my work. Thanks, Dr. Salamon!
