For a troupe that performed together for less than three years – mainly on the fringes, and nearly four decades ago – the Cockettes have been getting second, third, and fourth winds, thanks to Thrillpeddlers. The quirkily ribald company offered a revival of the Cockettes' Pearls Over Shanghai as its summer entertainment for 2009. It wasn't until 22 months later that the oft-extended run finally came to an end, and during the middle of that run, Thrillpeddlers also managed to thread in a revival of the Cockettes' Hot Greeks. It's not surprising that Thrillpeddlers is again mining the Cockettes repertoire.

Vice Palace, now at the Hypnodrome, is being billed as "the last Cockettes musical."
