Oh yeah. No, I was there on my special 15th anniversary trip with my (then) wife. We went to Paris and London. I had just come out to her the week before. My sister (the girl on the left) didn't know that a few days later in London I would be coming out to her. Obviously big changes happened shortly after.

I use this before photo a lot because it is as close to a zero day picture that I have. It shows my last boy haircut and what I started from. Two months later I was thinner and starting hormones. I have a picture of me taking my first E pill, but it doesn't really show my face very well. Basically I was thinner and my hair was about an inch longer.
and i know that i'm never alone
and i know that my heart is my home
Every missing piece of me
I can find in a melody

I've seen a lot of comparison photos and I have to say you look fantastic for only 7 months on hormones!
Good luck down the road, though I don't think you need it.  :)

Thank you very much, but we all need luck. There is so much more to transition than how cute we end up. Mental changes, how friends, family and society treat us, relations with the ex-wife and son, work etc. are only a few of these. It is truly a monumental undertaking.

I would be remiss if I also didn't thank all the rest of you for your very positive reaction. In five days it will be a year since my dad passed. The event that eventually sparked my self-realization and overwhelming need to transition. I find myself reflecting a lot on him some days and how he would have felt about me now.
