Matt Barber, Vice President of the Liberty Council's Liberty Action, found out about this story, and today (May 11, 2011) gave commentary to the American Family Association's OneNewsNow "news" outlet.
Apparently, Matt Barber didn't bother to read the story, and apparently doesn't know what the intervention is going to be for the youth. In a the piece entitled Sex change of minor = 'criminal abuse', he states this:
And he argues that surgically changing the boy into a girl will not work "because we are, as scripture says, as God made us -- male and female. And man does not have the power to undo what God has done."
