Mr.Rainey

I live in Washington. I know I need to get my GID papers first but where and how do I get my hysto?

I tried calling Marci Bowers but her inbox is full so I left a message with her secratery 6 months ago. I tried google and that did not find me anything.

Try joining this community.  http://ftm.livejournal.com/profile They have awesome tags and one guy there is really helpful with helping people get their insurance to pay for gender surgeries.  And you don't need Marci Bowers to perform your hysto.  Any surgeon will do.

I got an error 500 with a goat on it  :o

Cool. All I really need is someone that will be skilled and treat me respectfully. I am just in the stage of not knowing who to call and what to say.

try this link.  If you don't already have a livejournal account you will have to join but I thin it's worth it to be in that community.  Lots of info and help.

I would start by calling either a GP (I think they can recommend a hysto) or gynos and asking if they have worked with trans patients before.

I'm not really sure about all this but I hope I can help.

is GP my regular doc? (I am new to all the termanology and whatnot) I did talk to my regular doc and she said to try the web since she has not worked with any trans people before. She was super cool and is using the right pronouns for me and my chosen name.

Looks like I am signing up to LJ now.
