I just wanted to drop a quick note to any of us who have not yet attended a gender based conference.. I was so worrried about everything,, going there, having people see me/clock me,, you name it! Everything,, I just wanted to say,, if you are having the feelings ( you know what they are if you are here) A conference will HELP you so much! We always kill ourselves over all the things that cause denile.. I recently (last week) attended the Empire confernce in Albany NY,, and I can tell you, it was the greatest thing in my life,, At some point, I have spent several months in therapy and what I got out of this was "priceless" ! I actually feel so great about myself right now it is unbelievable.. Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone who is struggling,,
