Matt Cherette — On tonight's Late Show, David Letterman welcomed Chaz Bono on to talk about his transition from a woman to a man. Unfortunately for Bono—and the rest of us—the interview consisted mostly of frustrating confusion from Letterman about the difference between being homosexual and being transgender. Here are some of the lowlights.

Chaz did a wonderful job dealing with those questions!

I'm happy that he asked Letterman to stop saying homosexual too!  That's one of my pet peeves, I guess!

I thought he did a pretty good job also... He kept a pleasant disposition and was direct in addressing and responding to the issues... Sure, he was there to plug his book, but how many of us would be brave enough to face off with Dave on national television?
