International Day AgainstHomophobia 2011

Feature, By SSHQ, 16th May, 2011

17 May each year marks IDAHO, the international day when nations unite to acknowledge and tackle homophobia and transphobia where it occurs. Hundreds of events are planned in over 50 countries.

This year's International Day Against Homophobia theme is LOVE. Love doesn't discriminate between gay and straight couples – why should anyone?

If anyone is around Bristol this weekend then the IDAHOT gathering is in Queens Square from 1pm - 4 pm this saturday 21st May (we have a 10k run in Bristol on the official day so it's been moved to the weekend)
