Study suggests effective vaccine for HIV in monkeys

A study on monkeys has suggested that a vaccine could be used against HIV.

The experiment, on rhesus macaques, looked at the effect of the vaccine on the monkey form of HIV, known as simian simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV).

I am aware of this it's been around for awhile basically it came about when we discovered in australia a "subgroup" of HIV with a specific mutation that has a particular protien "Nef" deleted, Indivduals with that mutation while HIV+ Never went onto develop AIDS because your HIV+ Your highly resistant if not immune from begin infected by other strains of HIV.

The problem is it's extremely dangerous. Even I'm edgy of such a deadly virus.
Animal studies are dubious not least because HIV behaves very differently in simians than it dose in humans.
