It seems likely, given the number of incresingly rhetorical and unprofessional statements comming from this man, that he may be subject to angry outbursts.

People in our situation have waited a long time for the represion that has been used to attack any like us, to subside. We have certainly not been alone. The disabled, homosexuals, people of different races, some of whom could be killed on sight and many others.

I have no particular gratitude toward those that have finally taken some authority and stoped this nonsense. Repression doesn't just reprress the issue, it represses the contribution. There remians a small section who will refuse to accept that they were wrong. Who will lack the integrity and maturity to learn to accept people for what they say rather than how they look. As members of a free society, we should and must accept their right. We must accept the right of the racist to speak. The right of the fascist and nazis. The right of the biggots. (Though I draw the line at child abusers. Their ideas will cause harm to vulnerable children).

If I were to be imprisoned simply for having brown hair, the outrage from decent people would cause a social change, It could be argued that I had affected a contribution. Probably a lot greater than the rather humble contribution I have achieved.

But given the choice, I think most people would prefer that the con tribution they make to society be based upon personal choice, personal effort and be judged on the same basis as anyone else. Given the choice, most people would prefer their contribution not be that they were legally or socially persecuted.

It come down the the old argument that parents, whose children have died, might argue that they would have achieved so much,had they survived.

If this man is indeed a properly trained Dr, then it is a sad if not particularly surprising reflection on the state of moden medicine that someone can use their training and status, to attach a single individual, in this manner, for whatever reason.

If the individual is indeed psychotic, then it is cruel in the extreme to humiliate then in this way.

But unless the individual has been properly examined or their medical notes have been made available to Dr Ablow, then it is simply not possible to make such a claim.

But Dr Ablow aside, that no Drs have come to the indiviiduals assistance in this matter, or seen fit to refer it to the appropriate supervising authoritiesd, does case a serious question over the integrity of American medicine.
