It seems likely, given the number of incresingly rhetorical and unprofessional statements comming from this man, that he may be subject to angry outbursts.
People in our situation have waited a long time for the represion that has been used to attack any like us, to subside. We have certainly not been alone. The disabled, homosexuals, people of different races, some of whom could be killed on sight and many others.
I have no particular gratitude toward those that have finally taken some authority and stoped this nonsense. Repression doesn't just reprress the issue, it represses the contribution. Einstine would have certainly been attacked. Nelson Mandella. Other great minds, too numerous to list, all would have been prevented from making their contribution to the betterment of the human condition, had the repression not been halted.
There remians a small section who will refuse to accept that they were wrong. Who will lack the integrity and maturity to learn to accept people for what they say rather than how they look. As members of a free society, we should and must accept their right. We must accept the right of the racist to speak. The right of the fascist and nazis. The right of the biggots. (Though I draw the line at child abusers. Their ideas will cause harm to vulnerable children).
However much Fox News annoys so many, it is to their credit that they have sought to handle this unfortunate man is such way. Without fuss, confrontation or seeking to humiliate him.
