Stacy was connected with many in the local trans community, and helped a lot of her trans sisters and brothers through difficulties. She was roundly liked and respected, and many of us were in awe of her ability to deal with some of the challenges of being a transwoman. She was a groundbreaker at the FAA, a respected controller who nevertheless fought numerous battles about her transition.
