Transgender voices begin to find some sort of coherence when it comes to fighting for basic rights

For a transgender person, being sent to a male ward was an uncomfortable choice. She begged and explained that she had already had a sex-change operation, but her request was rejected. In the end, with the help of friends who talked to the hospital authorities, the next day Nada was moved to a more private corner in what used to be a space to store patients' beds.
Nada was sharing her life story, together other guest speakers during the seminar "Violated Lives: Narratives from LGBTIQs and International Human Rights Law"
