i thought an orchi was the removal of the testicles? How do u have an orgasm or get aroused without them?
Post orchiechtomy sexual responseI have had both an orchiechtomy and GCS, and was recently asked if the intensity of my orgasm decreased after the orchiechtomy.
I wouldn't say that it decreased, it's more like it was different.
Prior to HRT, I was quite amply endowed, and would ejaculate copious amounts of thick semen, which a lot of transwomen and their partners would have been thrilled with. I also would be horny and end up having sex with people I might not normally. Basically, I was young, dumb, and full of cum.
For me this situation drove me nuts (no pun intended). So I was glad that with HRT, my erections diminished and I didn't ejaculate nearly as much.
After the orchiechtomy and with HRT, my penis even when erect wasn't as large as before HRT, and during sex I was somewhat flaccid, I would say due to my HRT regimen and the orchi. I should point out that if a woman wants to get erect, she most likely could, as I did when I was turned on by the person I was with.
What I liked about the orchi, besides the ease of tucking, and no more involuntary erections, was that I could have orgasm after orgasm in relatively short periods of time, since I didn't need or wouldn't get fully erect.
How could a pre op have been multi orgasmic?
From Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refractory_period_(sex) Quote
In sexuality, the refractory period is the recovery phase after (normally male) orgasm during which it is physiologically impossible for an individual to have additional orgasms. It is also sometimes defined as "the time immediately following orgasm during which a man cannot achieve an erection." The penis may be hypersensitive and further sexual stimulation may even feel painful during this time frame.
The orchiechtomy decreased the amount I ejaculated, but I was multi-orgasmic, so it wasn't a bad trade off.
Now, after GCS I remain multi-orgasmic because:

Most women do not experience a refractory period immediately after orgasm and in many cases are capable of attaining additional, multiple orgasms through further stimulation.[1] The female sexual response is more varied than that of men, and there are many women who experience clitoral hypersensitivity after orgasm, which effectively creates a refractory period. These women may be capable of further orgasms, but the pain involved in getting there makes the prospect undesirable.
Post GCS, I would say that my sex drive is very different than pre HRT / operatively. I believe that many "admirers" and even some medical journals measure post op sex drives by pre op standards, and it's not a fair comparison.
Endocronologically I am a post menopausal woman. I have the same endocrine levels as a natal female, the same levels of estrogen, the same levels of testosterone. And I would say that I have the same sex drive as a natal female my age. If I am turned on and aroused by my partner, then we are going to have bed shaking, headboard and furniture breaking sex.
