(I also posted this in the health section)

Since I had my orchi least month every time I have an orgasm I get hit with some serious pain in the inguinal canals. The pain doesn't happen imediatly but tends to strike about 15-30 minutes after sex. The pain hits hard and doubles me over instantly. After I adjust I am short of breath from pain for about 15 minutes.
I know it is from orgasm because it only happens when I have an O. Simple arousment and play that is not to completion doesn't bring it on.

So I was wondering...
Has anyone else had a similar issue post op?
If so was it a short lived thing or did it go away after awhile?

i thought an orchi was the removal of the testicles?  How do u have an orgasm or get aroused without them?

I don't have sex with another.  But I have not had any problems.

@missyzanta  Yes you can.  You just need a little more time.

This is gonna sound wierd but my male equipment is functioning better than it has in years. When I get aroused I get 'functional' erections again.
I do need a little more time to get aroused than prior to HRT but over all the system seems to be in better shape without the evil twins. I really expected it to completely shut down erections post orchi.

But back OT.
It seems I am experianceing unexpected results and unique symptoms.

Could the Doctor have missed some part of the T-factory?

I dont see how. There were two of them down there and now there are none.
I know I checked to be sure as soon as I woke up. LOL

How long ago did you have it done? I read that when you remove the testicles the adrenal gland can go into overdrive and compensate for the loss of the testicles. This can go on for up to 12 months. Though it doesn't happen to everyone no doubt.
This was stated in my post-op care book and I felt that I needed to go back on AAs which my surgeon was ok with. The less time you're on AAs before surgery the more likely it could happen, which I feel was my reason for doing so. :P

If your protrate gland is still in  place then that will vibrate as it would for men who haven't had any adjustments.

I'm sorry I can give you any more details, endocrinology isn't my field

Post orchiechtomy sexual response

I have had both an orchiechtomy and GCS, and was recently asked if the intensity of my orgasm decreased after the orchiechtomy.

I wouldn't say that it decreased, it's more like it was different.

Prior to HRT, I was quite amply endowed, and would ejaculate copious amounts of thick semen, which a lot of transwomen and their partners would have been thrilled with. I also would be horny and end up having sex with people I might not normally. Basically, I was young, dumb, and full of cum.

For me this situation drove me nuts (no pun intended). So I was glad that with HRT, my erections diminished and I didn't ejaculate nearly as much.

After the orchiechtomy and with HRT, my penis even when erect wasn't as large as before HRT, and  during sex I was somewhat flaccid, I would say due to my HRT regimen and the orchi. I should point out that if a woman wants to get erect, she most likely could, as I did when I was turned on by the person I was with.

What I liked about the orchi, besides the ease of tucking, and no more involuntary erections, was that I could have orgasm after orgasm in relatively short periods of time, since I didn't need or wouldn't get fully erect.

How could a pre op have been multi orgasmic?

From Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refractory_period_(sex)

Quote

In sexuality, the refractory period is the recovery phase after (normally male) orgasm during which it is physiologically impossible for an individual to have additional orgasms. It is also sometimes defined as "the time immediately following orgasm during which a man cannot achieve an erection." The penis may be hypersensitive and further sexual stimulation may even feel painful during this time frame.

The orchiechtomy decreased the amount I ejaculated, but I was multi-orgasmic, so it wasn't a bad trade off.

Now, after GCS I remain multi-orgasmic because:

Quote

Most women do not experience a refractory period immediately after orgasm and in many cases are capable of attaining additional, multiple orgasms through further stimulation.[1] The female sexual response is more varied than that of men, and there are many women who experience clitoral hypersensitivity after orgasm, which effectively creates a refractory period. These women may be capable of further orgasms, but the pain involved in getting there makes the prospect undesirable.

Post GCS, I would say that my sex drive is very different than pre HRT / operatively. I believe that many "admirers" and even some medical journals measure post op sex drives by pre op standards, and it's not a fair comparison.

Endocronologically I am a post menopausal woman. I have the same endocrine levels as a natal female, the same levels of estrogen, the same levels of testosterone. And I would say that I have the same sex drive as a natal female my age. If I am turned on and aroused by my partner, then we are going to have bed shaking, headboard and furniture breaking sex.

I have no idea what would be causing the degree of discomfort you describe. Have you been in touch with the surgeon who performed the procedure? There may be a blockage somewhere that he would need to address; by all means, please look into this.
