Those cheaper ones with many names, limpy and sailor etc, does their smell ever go away?

I have a limpy (.....lol). The chemical smell diminished after a bit, but since I use corn starch for upkeep, it smells a bit like that. Which personally I find to be a somewhat neutral and unoffensive smell, but I don't have the most sensitive shnauze.

 Next they'll be baking a cake in the gourmet kitchen they built with their own two...hands.

Anyways, I found that cornstarch helps too.

I have a limpy packer and right away it seems to have adopted "my" smell, which I'm more or less fine with.
