Ok, I'm honestly a little confused on what my weight strategies should be... What should I be doing about my weight prior to HRT?
What should I do about it when I start on HRT?
I really do want to let my body have the energy it needs to develop with, so naturally I'm rather worried when it comes to the idea of potentially screwing this up.

The only thing that needs to be worried about, weight-wise, is if you are at a healthy weight for your height. If not, it would be best to get to that point. Typically this means losing weight before HRT, and then maintaining it as your weight-gaining ability may change. It's a common experience that weight becomes easier to gain while on HRT (although I personally have not observed this).

Be healthy... and rest well. :)

I need to lose about 70 lbs. I lost 30 pre-hrt and 15ish since HRT.

It's easier to lose weight pre-hrt because you have a higher metabolism.  Though I like that as I'm losing weight post HRT it's not coming off my breasts and butt.

Men lose weight, women lose weight.   I'm very glad to have started HRT, even if it's tougher to lose weight. I shouldn't have delayed it.  The other benefits like awesome skin, hair, and well being are too good.  It has made me want a better body like woah.
