Basically I have a disease that has made my erectile tissue into very stiff and damaged scar tissue and would need it to be completely removed (the corpora cavernosa and the corpora spongiosum, specifically), in order to have a good result with my reassignment.I've read that it won't cause complications as long as they're removed and it's somewhat common anecdotally for trans women to get this disease (peyronie's) from tucking pre-op. Some places I've read that everyone does this in surgery and then elsewhere I read that only some do and they just partially remove them. Does anyone here know which American surgeons remove both entirely as part of their method?
