To encourage dialogue between the public and the Legislature, I am providing a list of 14 questions, focused on key issue areas that voters may want to consider asking their elected officials.

8.What benefit will marriage provide to gay and lesbian couples that they do not have under the civil union statute? Does Vermont need to revisit this issue?
