Members of the German Bundestag and the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group have tabled a potentially groundbreaking and far-reaching Motion to safeguard the rights of intersex people in three key areas: legal recognition, medical/surgical treatment and social/cultural attitudes.

This puts me in mind of Rammstein's song Zwitter. The title means "intersexed" (literally hermaphrodite). It suggests how people in Germany treat the intersexed. There is a line in the song that says, "I'm not offended when someone tells me to go f**k myself."
"Anyone who attempts to play the 'real transsexual' card should be summarily dismissed, as they are merely engaging in name calling rather than serious debate."
