I am on what is now a two day fast, skipping two evening meals, Monday and Tuesday.

I will likely have breakfast in the morning.  BREAK my FAST in the morning.

I had better get out of bed and make my way to the kitchen to make some breakfast. I am hungry.  Have a nice Wednesday everyone!

This evening I just finished a salad with white chicken meat on top of it.

Something quick and tasty, it was.

Friday I had a big long German sausage.  I could not eat it all, as it was like more than a foot long.  So I saved some.

I am going to see my sweetie this evening.  She said she was going to make some lasagna.    That sounds very good.  She also will provide a very tasty and memorable dessert I am sure.  I think I will stop on the way at the food market and get her some fresh cut flowers.

Have a nice evening everyone!

I made some home made crockpot chili!

1 pound of ground sausage
3/4 pound of ground beef
1/2 diced red onion
1 cup black beans (soaked overnight)
1 cup pinto beans (soaked overnight)
2 red bell peppers
3/4 pint of sliced Cherry tomatoes
1 TBsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp soy sauce
3 minced cloves of garlic
2 TBsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp chili powder
2 cups beef broth

1.  Brown the meat (about 10 minutes)
2.  Add all chopped veggies.
3.  Add spices.
4.  Add broth.
5.  Stir well.
6.  Cook for at least six hours (I cooked mine while I was at work for 11 hours)

I would have added kidney beans, but I didn't have any.  I substituted cherry tomatoes because I didn't have normal tomatoes.  When everything was finished, I added a healthy handful of cheddar cheese and 1 packet of ranch dressing.  This turned out pretty good, although, I think next time, I'll cut down on the amount of broth. (I cut down the amount already in the above recipe.)

Cooked lamb raan last evening, leg of lamb coated in spice mix. Today I will turn it into a Jalfrezi with green beans. Need to cook a courgette as well due to it starting to go mouldy in the fridge, luckily just the one end. Might do a pan fried recipe from my Indian cook book.
