Looks like it was the Nord VPN that messed up the laptop ,when I turned it back on it was trying to sell it to me. Not cynical but strange it was telling me there was a fault and to sort it it needed to download (for a price!)
Nice out today 23C ,got the jobs plus a few more done. Worn out now.

I had a busy week, but I wanted to post something in case anyone was worried.

We went to see my dad again over the weekend. I spent several hours mowing his yard, and an hour or so with a chainsaw. Two very large limbs had broken off during a recent storm, one was big enough to cut up for firewood. Susan helped me clear the debris.

I was able to document even more checks my dad had written, and pinpoint when the financial abuse began. We reported it to law enforcement on Monday. They were in disbelief. Over 500 checks, over $500k, in the last four years. The officer we worked with said she had 'no doubt' they would be making an arrest soon. I'm not sure how much we may be able to recover. There is much more to this story, but I'm keeping that confidential for now.

My dad is doing a little better, but he knows it will be a long time before he can go home. He has no idea we have made a police report. Unless it becomes necessary, we may never tell him. Seeing the depth of what happened would be extremely painful to him, and we want to spare him from that if possible.

We all have those days, Katie. There will always be someone younger, prettier, more successful. Don't compare yourself to others, only compare yourself to a previous versions of you.

"Comparison is the thief of joy" attributed to President Theodore Roosevelt and others

Sorry to hear about the wife problems. It, as you know, can be so freeing to dress in the gender we feel best in. The home should always be our safe space and not having to hide, it just takes so much stress out of our lives. Some nights when I'm feeling blue, I will put on a night gown and watch tv. It helps me and puts my GD at bay. I wish the best for you.

Again no internet ,rang provider and he could see no fault. Tried smart TV and that worked so something to do with my laptop? Did a restart and it took ages before it worked properly but its now settled, might need a clean up but not sure how.
All behind now, off to cut some more ply panels.
