I have no talent for singing, but I was told something similar, that singing allows you to raise your pitch effectively. I hope that as I get better at voice control I might be able to do some singing to broaden my effective range. I have always been a fan of Terri Nunn, the lead singer of Berlin. Her pitch is similar to mine, but wowza can that girl sing!
they can give you lidocaine injections to numb you and make it tolerable... not sure what they offer as far as honoring insurance but, it might be worth a call to check... Flights to Phoenix aren't usually too bad because it is a hub!
Hope all is well in Iowa for you otherwise! I lived there in Ames for a few years in the early 2000s and loved it.
When I had my own place, I planted lilacs, English lavender, and honeysuckle near the house. I could open the windows in the summer and the fragrant breeze blowing in was heavenly!
I have another big tree in my yard. It is about 30ft tall and trunk is too big and heavy for me to take down safely. It has been cut back for years but apparently it loved the wet weather and grew really fast.
I bought my first micro mini skirt for $17. It fits perfectly. I'll wear it around the house when the weather gets really hot. I save on the electric bill by not running A/C during the summer. Connecticut is 2nd only to Hawaii in how much we pay for electricity.
I can look out the window and see purple lilacs straight ahead and purple wisteria in bloom to the left. Wonderfully fragrant when I'm outside in the back yard. It is very peaceful back there with tall shrubs surrounding the yard on all sides.
@LoriDee Dear LoriDee: There are so many things that we utilize our voice for.... talking, laughing, and... in my own experience since I like to sing I found it easier and more natural for me to sing in a proper female range, mainly because when singing I am focusing on being on the correct note, but in causal conversation there is very little focus about that so one has to practice enough for it to become a natural expression.
Thank you for sharing and posting... very interesting indeed. HUGS, Danielle

I'm not an expert on this, but I am pretty sure there are threads here discussing it and there are a few here who have taken full advantage of this (I just can't, at this moment recall who - sorry!) but there are spots that do these mega sessions of electrolysis - you go in and get sedation and you get a complete facial clearing.
It's pricey, and you need to travel for it, but the advantage is it's not traveling weekly which would be impractical, instead it would be something you'd need to block off 3-4 days for. I do think you need to do it a few times (hair grows in cycles), and I do not know if insurance covers it... but as Lori said, you might have some options there.
But this might be an avenue to explore in terms of a way to find a provider.
