That's great Alana! Glad you took the leap.

Remember though... patient/therapist is very much a relationship. So even if someone has a wonderful reputation as a therapist, if after a few sessions (or several) you really don't feel you're connecting with them, you need to advocate for yourself and find someone else.

But if you feel comfortable with this person, and you feel the sessions are productive? Then you're on your way!

Good luck!!!!!

Love,
Allie

Way to go Jenn! You set a long-term goal and hit it, nothing feels good like that kind of accomplishment! Whoo hoo!

Sorry about the dehydration. Cannot tell you how many times I've seen that sneak up and bite athletes of all ages, sizes and shapes. The good thing is, normally this is a lesson you learn once and don't forget! 😘

Congrats again! Hope your body is already on the mend!!!!

Love,
Allie

Quote from: LoriDee on Yesterday at 09:36:40 PMI think shaving is a smart idea. If the topper is tugging at the hairs, it could be painful and possibly damage the follicles. You don't need that. I forgot to mention, the prescription strength of the Rogaine they sent me is for men.

Gotcha. And yes, I would shave it... but obviously I think I'd like to give it a shot first to see if I can fill it in enough to bead it. That would be so much better. To not have to deal with tape at all, you know?

When I've been putting on the topper at home (mostly just for practice putting it on) I'm obviously not doing the tape... seems like it would be a waste. But it's also obvious what a major difference it makes not having it be secure in the front.

Let me know if the script works for you! I'm curious!!!

Sara, are you OK?

By the way, I'm not passing as a female, besides I have my long hair and rather feminine face and voice, being on HRT and wearing unisex. But noone unfortunately identifies me as a female. So I'm planning to have a ffs surgery after several month of HRT. Now I'm looking for a good clinic in Thailand or South Korea to fix my face.

A little bit of panic was starting to set in.  So glad it's back up and with no losses.

Hello Ralina!

Welcome to the forum and thank you for that wonderful introduction. Keep in mind that HRT is slow. It takes time as your body makes adjustments. Keep thinking positive thoughts and do not get discouraged with minor setbacks. If you need help, be sure to reach out. We are all here to help each other.

Hugs!

We had no doubts you could do it. Congrats! I think you know you had the right attitude going into it and was not about to give up. I admire that. Well done!

Thank you for supporting me, dear Danielle! I'm glad to join this forum here! I posted in April feeling strong disforia, being only 1 month on HRT. At that time I was really disappointed with HRT poor effects and my body's, my face overview. I  couldn't post and read forums. It was also suffering from the post traumatic syndrome due to the reason, that I was attacked and robbed at the end of March, travelling in India, Delhi. Since that time I've got much more better HRT effects and now I'm really pleased)) If I can post my picture somewhere in this forum with limited access for outside guests?
By the way my name is Ralina and I'm 40)
