Better bring plenty of bred crumbs next time you go into the cave. Sounds like a lot of fun, finding a rough stone and turning into a beautiful piece of jewelry. I have to agree, you really look like a young woman in those pics. Looking good Lori.
Three gigs this weekend, played one last night. Show was ok except for one confrontation.
Guitar players 'wife' (they aren't married) takes it upon herself to tell complete strangers about me. This time it happened where I knew about it. I got in her face, loudly, and called her to task. Saying that I 'saw red' would be an understatement.
I really don't feel like expounding, suffice it to say while she is always doing things to be center of attention, I don't think she liked the kind of attention she received from me and those close by who could overhear.
The guys wanted to know what happened so I told them, they sided with me, of course, they didn't like how I did it at a show in public. I didn't care, it had to be done. I told them I'd quit the group before I'd put up with it anymore.
The guitar player said he'd talk to her. Trust me, he will and she won't like that either. He's very supportive of me and she steps out a lot. It's not the first time, simply the first time that I was in a position to respond.
From one of my Indian cook books and a nice favourite "mums chicken curry", filleted chicken thighs in a onion/tomato/ yogurt sauce with a dry mix veg curry.
