Concerns have been raised that gender-questioning young people are being failed by "appalling" waiting lists as a report warned that staffing is one of the "most challenging" parts of delivering their care.

Some 250 patients were transferred to the care of two new regional hubs when the Gender Identity Development Service (Gids) run by the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust closed at the end of March.

Around 5,000 more children and young people are currently on the waiting list for referral into the new clinics.

The waiting list time at Gids had grown to more than two years for young people to get a first appointment.

What is not said is, when they do get seen they will only be offered talking therapies that beat the trans out of them and convince them that they are suffering mental illness. Self prophesying of course as they will have caused it. This is not about the kids it's about the elimination of trans people starting with the youngsters and the sooner started the better in their minds.

Will they prescribe hormones as a treatment for their "mental illness"? Not likely, but my psychologist indicated that that would be an appropriate treatment. The American Medical Association and American Pediatrics Association agree.

No, all banned, effectively until 25. The start of banning for adults too.

The Cass report dismissed ALL evidence that with hormones outcomes improved with transitioning as they were not double blind. Oh and Cass was one of the collaborators in the DeSantis commissioned report so you see how independent she is.

This morning it has been reported that private clinics will be banned from providing hormone treatments, not read the details but as clinics are staffed by registered doctors I guess they will go after the licence to practice. Where have I heard that before.
