Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church hosted a fundraiser on Saturday, June 11, for the San Francisco Gay Softball League called the "Switch Hitters Ball."
The Switch Hitters Ball has been hosted by Most Holy Redeemer each year since at least 2007. The "Switch Hitter" in the event title does not refer to a batter who is able to hit from both sides of the plate -- it refers instead to the ->-bleeped-<- nature of the "entertainment" that takes place at the ball.
