Unfortunately, I own a truck and I haven't found a way to get in and out in a dainty way.  Especially if I'm wearing heels which makes it all the harder.  I'm sure I blow my cover if anyone is watching.  I think I could step up with one foot, put my butt in first and then follow your method.  I'll give it a try.

Now that I think about it it's normally butt first. Then swing my legs in. Doesn't matter how I'm dressed.

Same here, sit first then turn and slide my legs in.

I still get out the same way I do in boy mode since most of the time I am wearing jeans or jeggings. With skirts, I just make sure no one is around to look. ;)

I own both a truck and a car. With the truck, I almost have to set a leg forward , swing inward and tuck the other leg as I slide in . Getting out of the truck is somewhat awkward as I'll swing out with the legs tucked in tight and swing out to the street . In the car, I have a little less room. I put a leg in and try and have my bottom at the edge of the seat . Then I swing in with the other leg. ellen

if i'm driving the car, i'll have to slide one foot in while sitting down, the drag/jam the other foot in, often lifting the knee a bit high in the process. would be near impossible to get in with a tight skirt. my legs are so short i have the seat almost touching the wheel, so i can't just sit down before neatly sliding both feet in, one foot has to pass the wheel below the knee. i'm so glad my mom doesn't try to force into wearing skirts all the time anymore, everything is easier when i wear pants

i never would've thought of this as something concerning gender, but i just put one leg and half my butt in first, and then the next half with the leg. is that how a woman gets in a car? i guess a man just gets in by climbing, and sitting down like he doesn't care. graceful, femenine mannerisms should blend into everything you do when you've practiced enough. i've never been concerned about just this one small thing in particular.

Car: butt first, then slide in legs. Truck: place right foot on floor board, use steering wheel to pull myself up, land butt on seat, finally slide legs in. Wow  ::) no wonder I sold the truck!  Lots of work, Lol!

The way Britany Spears did it

My normal everyday wear is a knee-length skirt, and I get into a car putting my bottom on the seat first, and then swinging both legs into the car, keeping them together so as to impede any view of my crotch.  Getting out is the exact converse.  Like Chloe,I think most girls do it that way too.

There's more of a question about how to get on and off a bike.  For either sex out for a serious bike ride they'll be in bike gear - lycra shorts or tights, depending on weather, and so there's no trouble for either sex about cocking the leg over the saddle. There are ladies bikes with a low cross-bar that they can step over, but you see very few of those, and  girls who ride bikes mostly do it in pants of some sort.  For me if I'm in a skirt and have to go a short journey and dont want to change, I've got a problem.  Cocking my leg over is, after all, a gesture similar to  the one used by dogs the world over for a different purpose, and  I cant help a brief view, and if there's someone around who I have to be gentlemanly with, I arrange to get on out of sight.  When I'm on the bike, though, a knee-length skirt so long as it isnt too tight  is OK to ride short distances.

I normally insert one leg, then place butt on seat, then other leg. But if I'm wearing duct tape, butt first, then slide in legs at the same time.

Just out of curiosity, how often do you wear duct tape, and do you have any pictures? I've seen some pretty elaborate duct tape dresses before.

I wear it when I go out clubbing, usually. No, no pictures. I've never seen a duct tape dress before. Sounds like it'd be painful to remove.

Due a search on duct tape prom dresses sometime. Much fun.

modern cars are so low and the seat so constricting that its really hard to get in in a ladylike way.
watch vidoes of royalty arriving in Rolls Royce and they can get in/out elegantly but even US socialites can't enter or leave a stretch limo with much decorum.
At a recent Royal event Queen Elizabeth had to leave the back seat of a Range Rover and her skirt rode well up over her knees.

I only get a car about once a month and its a little Vauxhall Corsa and no matter how I try I can't do the bottom first entry.

One problem we have over here is that parking spaces are so small that its impossible to open the doors wide so getting out is a real struggle in a skirt.

I like watching old b/w movies from 40/50 and all the cars were higher and so easy to get into...makes me really envious.
