AUTHORITIES at the country's notorious Chikurubi maximum security prison are said to be in a spot of bother regarding accommodations for an inmate who has both male and female reproductive organs.
Prison officials said the hermaphrodite – who is on remand at the prison's female section for the alleged cold-blooded murder of his/her father – was being held in solitary confinement.

THE Zimbabwe Prison Service (ZPS) is in a quandary: where to place an inmate who has both male and female sexual organs, according the state run Sunday Mail paper.
A hermaphrodite has been languishing in solitary confinement for the past six weeks, the papaer claimed.
The hemaphrodite is on remand and is detained at Chikurubi Female Prison after allegedly murdering his/her father in cold blood.
