25 years later, transvestite murders remain unsolved
The murders of Arroyo and Streater recall a bygone era when DNA testing was still in its infancy and Philadelphia's 13th Street was still a well-known haunt for prostitution.

The dead men were wearing women's clothing, including fishnet stockings and panties.
Their remains had been stuffed into green plastic bags and forced into cardboard boxes.
The boxes were doused with gasoline and set ablaze in a field near the Little League baseball diamonds off Trenton Road in Middletown.

Damn did you read how some Johns had their necks slashed by the transvestites? I remember driving around phila back then and saw them hanging out along 13th st and i wanted to just talk to them about transitioning but they wanted a ride. i told them no i wasn't interested in that. I also hated those motorcycle gangs as they were creeps. I was so glad when many of them were busted and tossed away for life. They did some nasty things to people. I guess they did it also out west in Calif with the hells angels..

There are huge numbers of unsolved murders. It's the easiest crime to get away with.

Nah, I live out West, it's really hard to find bodies out here. It's a little known fact that "Nevada" is the Shoshone word for 'shallow grave in the desert'. And Tahoe, beautiful Lake Tahoe. Here's some more facts, and these are even true ones. At it's deepest point, Tahoe is 1, 645 feet deep (501m). Below 600 to 700 ft the temperature of the water remains a constant 39F (4.0C). What that means is it's too cold for the bodies to decompose fast enough to build up all gas needed to bloat and thus float back up, as bodies in water tend to do. By the time that that process gets up enough steam the body is so deep that the water pressure prevents it from happening, so it never floats. The mob loved this aspect of the lake. Lot's of one-way boat rides.
