Title: OK for a teen t-girl what kind of development should i more or less expect?
Post by: LilKittyCatZoey on July 12, 2011, 09:25:33 AM
Ok well i know we all develop different i am on HRT in fact only a month. I have extremely levels of T but amazingly a feminine structure. Ok so i find so much random articles on this . Ok so from what i understand if you start before 18 you can a expect a A cup at minimum and if older at max right? I don't care what size breasts i get i will be happy either way except i am gonna keep a boy role for 2 more years while i finish school. So i need to know if i should be worried because my mom was a G cup and GG after she had me. Yes That size exists and well i read girls like me should develop a good natural size for a girl(B to C cups) is this true?

LilKittyCatZoey, if you are young under 18 with 2 yerars of high school left, and start taking HRT's now knowing your mom was a G-GG you could well develope much larger breasts than an A cup in 2 years.  Are you seeing a theapist now?

Well being younger it's safe to expect better results. This can mean you get C or D cup breasts. However, Transgirls generally have a wide range of boob sizes just like any genetic girl. While we are generally smaller, because we start HRT later than a GG would start puberty, we still have a wide array of boob sizes.

Like I said, being younger you should expect much more "standard" results. But that doesn't necessarily mean you'll grow huge boobs.

You can usually keep them down pretty safe with a sports bra, you just have to be wary of guys (or people in general) patting you on the back. I'm sure some of the guys on the forums can give you some tips on how to bind, and maybe how to make it smooth so people won't feel it if they pat or brush their hand across your back.

It has a lot do with genetics. I started hrt at 17 and I'm 18 now, 10 months into hrt and I've been a 34A for a while, going toward B slowly...

The younger you start, the better the results. About definite cup sizes, this is hard to tell as even if you were born female, no one could guarantee you a cup size. Though it's safe to assume if you start at, say, 16, you have passably high chances of reaching very close to your close relatives in terms of breasts.

If you started at, say, 20, that chance would lower and you would rather have a high chance of developping a little under them. But if they're well-endowed, it's all right to be smaller, I guess.

In any case, the dream course for you, if you want to finish school as male, would be to see doctors/psychiatrists/therapists right now to get a puberty-delaying prescription as soon as possible. Of course, your puberty has started long ago, but I know from experience the changes that still happen after 16 are very sad, especially if your body is still "feminine" as you state. It might very well all shatter and disappear within a couple of years.

This prescription would allow you to stall your body whilst you get approved and evaluated for actual HRT.

Hmm yea i got a therapist ^^ and i am avoiding boys because they always punch me in the chest! :-\ WOW a possible D cup omgosh thats scary i go to a horrible school that has a uniform ... ok well try this i am 5"6.5" feet tall which is 166.4 cm tall. i have a shoulder width of about 44cm which is 17.3in so will that have any affect also? and well i chose the HRT to being estrofem and stuff because i would rather be socially ridiculed then damage my chances of "fitting in as a girl"

shoulder width will definitely go down a bit (well at least hopefully, i'm not sure if it happens for everyone). I went from 16" down to a bit under 15" over the months. My height also went from 5'7 to around 5'6, but that took a while

Uh, your shoulders' muscles should thin down/stop growing. The bones should stop getting larger. They might shrink a little, with a small chance, because you are still in puberty.

As for transitioning, well, this is hard for everyone. Most people start hormones and whilst they do their work (they take a few months, up to 6, to do any "definitely obvious" things, usually) they continue to present as male. Then there's a decision, you have two choices:

-Either you just decide to continue on as female one day. This may be dangerous because people are mean, but it's also the most honest and, if you go through the social stuff, can be great. Though doing this may destroy your woman's image forever, meaning you will be "the trans". If you have a lot of good friends, you can do it basically unharmed, I guess, but people will still know.
-Either you "start a new life" by changing schools or such. This is hard because you have to break from your past and lie / stretch the truth a lot, but it also has the highest chances of letting you have a normal life.

My choice is probably the second (I may still change my mind, but I'm still being stalled for HRT, so hard to know just yet), because I yearn for a normal life. It's a hard choice, but all big choices are, and you need to choose someday.

EDIT: Shoulders and height should not be affected normally. However, you are still in puberty and in it (and with luck, a little after it) there can be some backtracking, which is awesome. As for shoulders, everyone can get effects, since a part of shoulder width is muscle and this can be reduced.

Did you also experience increased ability to detect smells and sudden change in the way you talked wrote and needed friends?

Yeah I noticed my smell got more sensitive. Also I love guy body odor now, it makes me go crazy. And I think the way I talked definitely got more androgynous over the months, but that may just be me, so I don't know. And about needing friends yes that definitely changed, in a good way.

Look at the size of your mom, look at the size of your sisters (if you have any), look at the size of your grandmother, you will likely to be just about as big as they are.

Ashley i dont think i will develop GG cup sized breasts . and i noticed it today when putting on boys deo and generally in everything i am kind of excited and scared about this whole thing because i really hope i dont get attacked in some homophobic assaults. My school has them occur and they never seem to be reported

Zoey

Will you relax.

If your breasts grow a bit too much, do what our FtM boys have to, bind. It doesn't hurt and it works.

It great to hear from you and a big welcome from all of us. You'l like it here.

But please, do try not to look for worries. You got several years of exams to look forward to, in school and college. You want worries? Wait till you have to carry some of the books you're gonna need for that lot!

Every time I hear that advice, I think about how my grandmother was a D (at least), all of my aunts are D (at least), my sister is a C, and my mom... is an A.

Try to limit your double-posting, or moderators will get angry, hehe.

Anyway, uh, body hair... It's very variable, I think. Usually, people notice differences within one month, but will only see a decent decrease by 6 or even 12 months. Some people report still seeing changes after years. But I may be mistaken.
