Title: I realize I should've done this a while ago,

but, hello! I'm Piers, a FtM transsexual.

I'm out to some of my friends and now my parents, planning to come out to my old drama department later this year.
I'm starting therapy today, actually :)

So, a belated introduction, I guess. Hello!

I'm kinda envious of you.  As far as I see it, it takes some serious stones to come out to your parents.  (I probably feel that way because my parents are scary, and I'm kind of a wuss.)   ::)

My parents may never know...   :(  But that's beside the point.  Is it okay if I ask how you did this, so maybe I can find the courage to do the same someday?  It would be immensely appreciated.   :laugh:

Sage: I actually wrote a letter to my parents telling them about my gender identity. I find that to be much easier than saying it :) Plus, you can plead your case without being interrupted or worrying about leaving anything out.

Welcome young man. It's great that you have been able to let your parents know what you have been going through. Sounds like you are still tight.
