I'm just curious how tall you guys are.

5'6". Wish I had another few inches, but I'm grateful for what I have.

I measured at a little under 5'6" a few months ago but peoples keep telling me I seem taller now. Maybe I've grown.

6'3 here. After a lifetime of ->-bleeped-<- from a$$holes "Jolly green giant!" "How's the weather up there?" "That's a huge b!tch!" "Circus freak!" "It's too tall to be a girl." my height suddenly is a blessing and I think I can't possibly be trans because how could I suddenly be so lucky after a lifetime of misery?

I'm part Japanese so I'm really glad I'm 5'6" lol  My grandma is 4'9" and my mom is 5'1". My dad's 5'11" made up for it.

I'm 5'6".  I like my height.  I don't want to be too tall, or too short.

I'm 5'3"/160 cm.  Although, I've been told that I don't seem "that short."  I think it's possible that I've grown since I was last measured several years ago.  Doubtful though so for now I consider myself to be 5'3".

I'm 5'7 and perfectly content with my height. Sometimes I look in the mirror and am like ah crap I'm short! But that's rare; most of the people I spend time with are around my height or shorter so I feel fine.

5'6, could be worse.

5'3" the last time I checked. I don't think I'm ever going to grow any taller, but hey. I can deal with being a short guy. My dad is only an inch or so taller than me anyway, so I don't feel too bad about it.

5'8" taller is always good, but i am happy being avg. height.

6' the last time i measured... which is perfect i think. i'm not small but a lot of guys are taller than me around here and i don't mind. i like taller guys and i like to have to look up sometimes ;D

I am 5'3 ... it's sucks!  My wife is taller than I am

5' 2" last I checked :/ I might be closer to 5'3" now
But my girlfriend is barely 4'10" :) haha

I was measured at 5'3" a few years ago.

I just measured myself a couple seconds ago and got 5'. My mom's really tiny, and I don't know how tall my bio-dad is. I'm kinda hoping to get some lifts. I'm pretty much one of the smallest people in my school. XD I kinda get the feeling people don't really view me as a threat due to my height. Which, weirdly, doesn't seem to make me a target of bullying. My only bully has never said anything height-related to me.

5'8" Happily average. Taller than my dad, shorter than my mum.

I think I'm the shortest out of everyone... I'm about 4'10. It sucks to be a short guy.

Last time I got measured by a doctor I was 5'5.  When I measured myself the other day I got 5'4.  I have really bad posture.  I think I could gain a couple inches of I streched and improved my posture.  I really hate being short.

I'm fairly alright with it. A bit bummed though, because my mom's 5'5" and my dad's about 5'10" so I though I'd be a wee bit taller.

Also, having to get every new pair of pants hemmed can get irritating  ::)

5'6". Seems to be pretty common around here. When I first started transition, I bought lift shoes that made me 2 inches taller. It was a hell of a rush, but for those who have never worn them, it's basically like wearing a pair of high heels. Hence, pain in the back, legs, feet, etc. Just knowing they're available is good, though.

That said, I've never had any issues with my height. I live in Colorado, where there is a large Hispanic population, so in many places I go I tend to actually be TALLER than most other guys. It's pretty sweet.

5' 3" here, and it does bother me quite a bit.
Not much I can do about it though, so I tend to joke about it when around taller guys to kind of "get in first" before they can say anything.
I'm comfortable with my height, I just wish I was a little taller.

My Fiance' is quite a bit taller than me, at least 3" I'd say. At our upcoming wedding I have made sure she will be wearing flat shoes, and I'll be wearing special lift shoes. I want our wedding waltz to look right, and our photographs.
That's the only time it's really bothered me to do anything about it, though. And it's only going to be for one day.

there's not a whole lot of hope for any of us. when polled, 80% of straight women are "attracted" to guys that are over 6 feet tall.

It's certainly not impossible... and as chicks get older, they realize that things like aren't really that crucial when it comes to being with someone.

I'm 5'6 and never really pay attention to people's height, unless they're extremely tall or extremely short. I have a very tall family on both my mom and dad's side. Except for my paternal grandparents, they were short. Besides them, I am the only one who can really be classified as short (male or female height). My mom is 5'10, my dad is 6'1, and my brother is 6'5. It's amusing that I don't fit

im about 5'9" (havnt actually measured myself in a while).  I have scoliosis though, so its made my back all crooked and made me shorter.  I would probably be at least an inch taller if my back was straight.  I'm about the same height as a lot of my guy friends. My best friend though is 6'7"  and I always joke that he is the only person who makes me feel short.

i'm not really a guy all the time, i think.. but still voted for statistics. 5'2-3, not too sure exactly. too long since the last time i got measured

5'3". It seems to be the most common height for FtM's :P I wish there was a way to increase one's height without extremely painful, expensive surgery... I'd love to clock in at 5'7'' or 5'8''. Hell, 6' would be the best but oh well, what can ya do? :P

165-ish centimeters. That means that I'm tiny for a bloke, but average for a girl. Do girls like shorter guys? I like taller women, but I don't know if the reverse could happen.

I wanna be taller, my mum's like 177 centimeters, and father's about 185-ish. But I got the bad genetics and became really short. I wear boots that make me feel taller, and the coat I wear during winter makes me look taller, too.

I am 5 foot 2. There's actually height discrimination when it comes to jobs and dating for men. I mean, most of the world's CEOs are 6 feet or taller.

I am 5 foot 10 inches.

I feel... tall. Which is kinda nice, but I usually feel tall. I'm 5'11" and most of the people I know are shorter then I am. I'm pretty damn sure after my top surgery I'll be standing even taller, though going to the chiropractor now, so maybe I am already? Ha... I can hope, right? I know, I know, it's weird for someone so tall to want to be taller, but it's the one thing I've had all my life that I've taken pride in. Anyway... yeah... yay?

nygeel that may be the thing hindering your passing. not that there aren't any bio-males of your height, which there certainly are, but if i were "confused" about someone's gender and the person was under 5'8" or so i would guess female.

Not true. My fiance is a good few inches taller than me. I remember worrying that i was too short before asking her out the first time.

Haha this reminded me; guys that are all worried about their height, there's a great quote from Daniel Radcliffe (a.k.a. Harry Potter actor for those who don't know) "I used to be self-concious about my height, but then I thought, ->-bleeped-<- that, I'm Harry Potter."  It's actually the wallpaper I have on my computer.  I think we just all need to treat our physical height with that kind of attitude, no matter how short or tall :)

Last I knew I was roughly 5'6". I wouldn't mind another inch or so, but I'm also fine with my height as it is. Where I live now there's guys taller than me, but there's also a lot of guys quite a bit shorter -- I'm roughly average.

I can think of three celebrities off the top of my head who are around this height, and women go crazy for at least two of them so, there ya go.

For shorter guys, look at it this way: the average height of horse jockeys is pretty short, and no one is going to argue that those guys aren't tough S.O.Bs.

5'8" and proud i would love to be taller my goal is to be taller than my mom (5'9") but im not to short im taller then the average girl so i dont care that much.

5'10". I'd kill to reach 6' but I doubt it. At least I'm comfortably tall.

Not been measured for a billion years but I think I'm around 5'7" (Actually, it's probably more like 5'6" and a bit... but I like to round things up)

I'm 5'3". I've always wished I were taller, but it doesn't seem to hinder my love life, and I know lots of trans men my height or shorter. I also see a fair number of cisguys around who are my height or shorter. It's all good :)

I'm 5' 4". Not great, but hey - if Ronnie Corbett (http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01523/ronniecorbett_1523226c.jpg)* can work it, so can we ;)

I'm 4'11" and everyone picks on me for it. The only person I'm taller than is my great grandmother who's 4'7". The majority of the men in my family are over 6ft so it's annoying. Although, my bro and my best friend Justin are allowed to call me "midget" bc they've got special rights! lol.

I remember some guy saying that T made his torso longer since the stuff between your bones grow on T. He had to get new shirts since they became to short. I haven't heard of anyone else having such an increase though. I'm pre T so I can't speak from experience.

I'm around 5'6" but still got some time to grow a bit more I hope. The fact that so many others are that height makes me feel a little better. :)

5-9, glad love to wear heels, size 9 1/2 shoes maybe if wide width, size 10 if not, ring size 9 to 10. Dress size, womans 14, so wish I could get down to a 12 or so. That would be great! No guy here, all girly.

When I first met my girlfriend she was sort of boy crazy with all the guys at work. And they were all tall, slim with dark hair.

I found myself always comparing myself to them and my dysphoria got really bad. I just feel like I am sort of okay as long as I am taller than her even a little bit.

Also her parents know about me (they met me pre-t and pre-op) and seem to challenge my masculinity but I am taller than her dad too.

That's the only situation where I've ever cared about my height.

I'm 5'1, maybe 5'2 (it varies whenever I check my height, but it usually comes off at 5'1).

I'm fine with my height. My family calls me short, but I don't mind; short guys are cute. There are some things that are harder for me to do then some of my peers, but whatever.

I never really noticed how tall people are until recently. I always thought 5'5 was tall, but people say that's short for a man. 

I'm 5'5".  Occasionally it bothers me (moreso when I'm trying to reach for or hang something than in social situations or in comparison to others), but my grandfather was an incredible man who was WWII hero and he was the same height as me, so overall I'm fine with my height.  :)

I'm 5'2.

5'2" my wife makes fun of me all the time for it. she's 5'6" lol. calls me her little mexican man. tho i am the tallest besides my brother n my family... so i'm lucky there.  :D

Sadly, I'm only 4'11. If I had the money, I'd def get that treatment of getting the legs broken and re-broken. I suffered a lot of bullying when I was younger just for being a short female. It will be an even greater blow on me if when I start treatment and become a REALLY short guy. I don't get why women place such an importance on the man's height in the dating game (we're not apes anymore). Its really not fair.

I wouldn't mind a few inches more, but I'm happy enough with my height. At the training school I go to, about 80% of the students are men from India, and I'm taller than at least half of them. It's kind of nice being in a crowd where I'm roughly average height for a man. Then I leave class and I'm back to being short! Oh well.

according to the national center for health statistics, only 4.7% of men age 18 are 5'5" or shorter.

Hi Ryan. why waist time on jealousy. You are a good average height for a guy and taller than alot of us. I guess its human nature to want something differnt than what we got.

I understand that I got lucky being 5'10" with a FAAB(ulous) body. And I should have said envious, rather than jealous. Looking up 10 inches into the eyes of your best friend is just a constant reminder of what I could have had with the correct MAAB body. I don't particularly have any problems with my height except for that situation is a constant jab at my dysphoria, which we all know is usually irrational anyways.

Zoey You are correct it isnt a deal breaker. as a guy and being 5'8'' there is always someone shorter. it all comes down to self confidance weather we are FTM or MTF. we have to LOVe ourselve first and formost. confidence will come from that.

another thought its not the size of the dog in the fight. what matters is the size of the fight in the dog

I'm barely scraping 5'10" I think, but my brother is 6'1" and my dad's 6'3" so I might be lucky enough to gain another inch or two. I'm on the shorter side for my dad's side of the family but I'm glad I'm at least as tall as I am  :D

At 5'5" i am always told i make a extremely handsome guy(which annoys me to death) but simply put no one cares about my height!! really

That reminds my of my cousin. She's the same height as her husband, and both are really short >.<. And Da Monkey (Jay), you seem taller in your pics. >.<

Thanks.  I'm still in school and below the minimum age to get T even with parental consent, I'm not out yet to them either.  Even if I was out and old enough the waiting lists are long.  No one in my family is tall either though, my aunt is below my shoulder!

When I was in the Navy, there was a guy (cis - no trans guys serving as male) in my unit who was so short we used his head as an armrest when we were joking around :) Nice guy. So tiny. Couldn't have been over 4'7" - he didn't even come up to my nipple line, and I'm 5'7". I think of him whenever you guys talk about being too short to pass.

5'4 here. I'm pretty comfortable with it considering that my dad is 5'5, haha.

Wow that really is short! You don't have to be a certain height to be in the military? I think 4'11 is the cut off for being a little person.

You can get a waiver for being short. I assume it's pretty commonly granted for people who are just short with no underlying health condition.

I'm 5'1"...or 5'2"..I am really not sure..Ok so I am in between 5'1" to 5'3"...it's been years since I measured my height. I used to be really sad about that...but then I was in places that had a lot of men that were well over 5'6". Now that I've moved to a new neighbourhood, I am seeing men much smaller and shorter than me and it makes me giddy on the inside that even cismen can be shorties..

5'7 which I'm pretty ok with. It isn't all that unusual to see guys in the 5'7 to 5'9 bracket here, and generally I don't feel short in Canadian society overall. I think the national Canadian averages are like 5'8 or 5'9 for guys and 5'3 for girls or something like that. So I'm only like an inch off the national male average, which is cool.

I'm 6'2, taller than anyone in my family. Although, I started testosterone at 16.
Pre-T I was 5'7. My son is also transgender (unfortunate I know) and he is only 5'5, I hope he will be as lucky as me.

Oh lol.  Also your growth plates pretty much fuse (as far as I know) if you are FAAB and start taking T while a young teen so you would not have grown that much. 

I was on estrogen blockers from the age of 12 so I pretty much had all my growing left. So although I was 16, my body was physically 12 when I started testosterone. Also, this only happened last year. I was holding off until they were almost certain they could do it. They used stem cells from my own body. I honestly don't get why this is so hard to believe. Here in holand, they can cure infertility so don't bag in before you try it. Look into it. Of Course there is the fact that all of my procedures in total costed 7.5 million dollars. I thank God everyday that I was born in to a rich family, even if they weren't very supportive to begin with.

Any person with an IQ over 63 knows people cannot create testicles in a flask and then make them fertile. I don't care if you live in Holland or in the Large Hadron Collider.

If it was true, barren men and women would be a thing of the past and to genetically synthesize the sperm in the artificial testicles would take decades of more genome and DNA re constructional searches that would effectively create the perfect child before it is even conceived into more than four cells. Genetic related sicknesses would be a thing of the past.

Currently, making stem cells to create sex organs is impossible. Furthermore, you asking questions on growth medications on a prior thread does not make sense since you are privy to medical advancements of science the growth question would have been easy peasy for you. it's not possible. I just texted my mother your statement about how you got testicles from stem cells. She is a cardiologist and has been for 20 years. She's also been an advocate for stem cell research to build and repair healthy organs.

I find it hard to believe you're mum is involved in stem cell research if she does not know this. Of course there can be some complications, but generally it worked. My grandfather had cancer of his only kidney. They grew him another and removed the old one. He is also living proof. I feel like I'm talking to people in the 20th century. Move on!

Although the doctors here are very well progressed into recent procedures, They don't actually know a lot about height surprisingly. I had already grown to 6' by the time I moved to holand, so it wasn't really an issue for me. I'm pretty sure I was their human guinea pig though. I don't know for sure as other patients are confidential.

A vagina can be made because there is no biological factors involved to make like from the vagina. That would be the ovaries. Show me one link of someone creating a fully functional ovary and or testicle. Just one.

I'm quite happy having a basically biological male life and it's not so hard to believe.. There are bio males everywhere it's not like I'm explaining how I became superman. Be more open minded.
