Not strictly androgyne (though could be, I never asked) - I was taking a cute spaniel for a walk and I saw two women that made me smile because they reminded me of how ungendered most of the world is..
One was a woman in a black evening dress painting her fence black and the other was a lady in a blue boilesuit buying a bunch of flowers.
It is a lovely world.

Nice. :D
At rehearsal Tuesday night, the director started things off with "ladies and gentlemen and everyone else..." and that made me grin. In addition to myself, at least one of my fellow players is out about being "maybe genderqueer." Given some of his smartass comments about other people I don't know if he was really acknowledging us on purpose, but I'll take what I can get. :D

That's pretty cool, both of you, lol.
I've been noticing a bunch more things like this since stumbling upon the idea of being androgyne too, and I think it's me trying to find others like me. I work in an airport so I see a ton of people from all over the world every day, the sheer volume of faces that I see and will never see again is really interesting. I've seen guys so well groomed that they looked feminine, and girls dressed in very gender neutral clothing with short hair. There have been some that I couldn't tell whether to address them as sir or ma'am and suddenly I'm perfectly fine with that, it kinda makes me smile, lol.

:) It is certainly a lovely world. Reminds me of someone I saw on a train...I assumed them to be female, then looked closer, and realized I couldn't tell at all...they were giving off both gender signals in their presentation, and I just thought they were absolutely beautiful. :)

Some of the most beautiful people I'd ever seen were completely androgynous in their appearance.

There's a Chaplain impersonator I adore, I absolutely love him, he completely embodies the spirit of Chaplain and has a lot of the mannerisms down perfect... here he is.
Charlie Chaplin Busker in London (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvjBwFtfO30#)
But better than that, the man lives on the street where I have just moved to.
But even betterer than that, he goes to work by tube, in make up and costume. I have gone to the shops to buy eggs and Charlie Chaplin has walked right past me, seeing my open-mouthed expression, he tipped me a little wink. I feel like I have come somewhere in life, I live on the same street as a Chaplin impersonator.
