Title: All dressed up & no where to go?

I recently relocated to my nice farm in the mountains. It is a very nice place to live out my years & transition to a complete woman but there is no where to go. I'm at least one hour from any city with a club & people.
Before I always lived in a large city & it was great to go sometimes to gay bars dressed normal, make friends with other "girls" & to have men buy me a drink & hit up on me. (I love to be with a man if he is safe & the right type man) Now I'm so reclused this is going to be difficult with out people & a man sometimes.
I recently placed an ad for a straight man as a pre operative transexual woman & several replied however they were also over an hour away & most seemed too strange/scary to meet.
Not sure how I'm going to cope being so far away from people????

Why not start by counting your lucky stars that you are out in the boonies without a bunch of loonies to have to deal with! It sounds like heaven to me. Don't get me wrong-I like to go out and see other people but would much rather be out in the country where I can hear owls, foxes, whipoorwills, and woodpeckers.

I am very glad to be included in Susan's Place. It is so nice to talk with other girls about our lives. Changing gender is not an easy step for most of us as we all know.
Maybe I need the solitude to calm down & complete myself then just live a normal life as a normal woman in my small community. Then maybe I'll meet a man at the grocery store, the way I should met a man I guess?

Randi, I understand. I hate to admit this but I'm loose with men. Not sure why but I really enjoy being with a man. It will be nice if one day I can transition to a normal woman with a normal vagina then I guess date normal men however in the meanwhile I'm not sure how I can hold out?. Cold shower I guess or cold bubble bath. Just lonely, apologize for complaining.

Randi, it seems you have a lot going on around you. I've been there & done that. It's hard for other people to know what is in out hearts. It seems you have some family around. Family is important. Maybe you should try harder to make peace with all around you. Maybe part of being a woman is having more understanding of others. I try to feel for all others as best I can, I feel better when I help someone else other than myself.
You be cool there. I'm OK here. I'll adjust I hope, just lonely for a man.

Hi Francis,
I am in the same boat as you, living alone in paradise. Between the internet and being able to travel to the city for company, I wouldn't trade this way of life for anything. :)

Jennifer, thanks, you look great/cool.
I'm up early with a one piece bathing suit on sitting out in the sun. It's a beautiful morning here in the mountains. Going shopping today. Shopping always makes me feel a little better. Love my local thrift stores. Women there are nice to me & such nice things if you shop slowly.

Jennifer,
That's a pretty little sun dress. You look nice. I bet it's also a nice day in Wisconsin. Maybe we can be girl friends & share life some?

Thank you Francis,
Yes it is a beautiful sunny morning here in The North Woods of Wisconsin. I plan on laying in the sun in my bikini today.
Girlfriends? I'd like that. PM me anytime. You too Randi.

Hee-hee, nice chit chat thread.
I live near a city, actually the SA capital no less, but guess what? It's no different than living right in the sticks.
The place is VERY conservative, and only by being reasonably young, and gay or lesbian to boot (eh, what's a trans woman, eh?) will one be ever heard of still going clubbing.
No hang-overs no late nights, just listening to the birds, and the cars and motorbikes, um.
Most lesbians and gays don't really know how to deal with us. We do fit into their boxes IME.
If I'd go out on my own to a pub or club --- oh my! The guys hanging out there will think I'm some semiretired working-girl.
It is all save though --- but that's about it.
So --- you are not alone in this situation.
Don't know if that will cheer you up, but hey? There is always 'retail-therapy' never mind "nowhere to go", I say :-)

This is a nice chit chat thread, I am so glad I clicked on it, thanks Francis. And to answer your question, I am but a teenager in my new life and growing fast. Which explains sunbathing in a bikini and dressing like a flirt and shopping and ... Ya, I am having fun while I can!
So what do the rest of you girls do when you're ALL DRESSED UP AND THERE'S NOWHERE TO GO?

Jennifer, Dressing like a flirt is fun is it not?. How great it is to be a woman at heart. Pink, frilly, curly hair, high heels, long red nails, big hoop earrings, smooth legs shaved nice, curled eyelashes, nice bras, panty hose in winter time, cosmos in the mail, etc. Men calling sometimes for a date, for us to flirt with, tease.
It's all just great & feels great here.
Have fun you flirty teenage girlfriend. I'm with you.

Sounds good to me Randi,
any soooo much better then having to deal with a "wrong" partner.
I lived with a Bipolar (manic-depressive) for 19 years and we sometimes forget too easily what this was like.
Peace be on earth, I say. Also it sucks to be not much more than the paint on the wall, or a convenient punch bag.
It's winter on our side at present so no bikini for me right now, brr. If I look at the pool it looks arctic. Yet, sunny and not too cold during the day when I do my regular 1hr walks.
One thing, despite 'no where to go' is my weight keeps going up and up. I just laugh at the scales to spite them >:-) Must be male, it's so predictable.
Have no idea where all this pound a day is going, it's not really on my waist, so?
One pound of boobs a day? Can't really see it. Maybe I just miss some nice dance exercise?
Have a plan to join a ballroom dance outfit --- after SRS, if energy will allow.
Going off E for SRS at present, could be that is putting on pounds...
Nice chatting, no need for grumpy partners, eh :-)
Axelle
PS: Should I try tune my old guitar... giving me ideas, hm.

Jennifer, To answer your question.
Early in life I always wanted to learn how to sew & make clothes, dresses, etc. I bought everything, sewing machine & set up a sewing room, bought patterns, material, buttoms, zippers, etc. talked with other women that sewed, tried to learn. I would dress nice/normal as Francis & relax & concentrate to make a dress. I did OK but I never really perfected the art. It was fun trying anyway. Now with so many thrift shops I just go shopping for clothes dresses, etc. Love thrift shops, you can really find very designer label dresses, nice clothes, shoes etc. cheap if you shop slow.
For the past month or so it seems I enjoy this Susans place. It's so cool to talk/share with other girlfriends.

I sure hope things go well this week so I can move forward.
After relocating to a new area of the country I've had a rough patch finding a new physician & resuming HRT. I've been on & off for years & remember the pleasant calming emotions of HRT, I miss those emotions & feelings. I sent as nice a letter as possible, with a decent check to a new doctor last week but I've not had any reply about an appointment. Tomorrow, Monday I guess I'll call & see if I can find out when I can schedule an appointment. It's a 3 hour one way drive to his office so it's not that easy to just drop in.
I visited a shrink in another town early last week & that was a mistake. He was one of those that just wanted to talk & talk & take my $ at $150 an hour. I dismissed him & advised I did not need any talk just HRT.
Anyway girlfriends, I sure hope/need things to go well so I can finally relax & resume life. Good luck to each of you in your challenges.

Every time I get out on the dance floor I try to interpret the music into movement in such a way that even the white people there are begging me to stop because I'm embarrassing them. I'm very successful in my own way.

That's why I like where I live, I get the best of both. It's rural, it's farmish, its urban, it's all that. My deck looks out over a creek, thick woods, but I'm only two blocks from downtown (pop, 150,000) on the fringe of the Bay population area. I can go from riding my bike downtown to riding along side vineyards in about 10 minutes. All and all pretty nice.
