Title: Older or younger?
Post by: Natkat on August 03, 2011, 04:20:18 PM
do you usunally catch yourself falling inlove/being atractive to people older or younger than yourself?
for me the most guys tend to be older, and for girls there often younger.
what about you?

Boringly said 'I don't know' - I fall in love with anyone I see smiling to themselves really, anyone who seems to have a private world I'm not part of - guess my love springs from curiosity.

Although it really doesn't matter, I would prefer my date to have had a little more experience... which is more likely when they are older than I. That said, I prefer them to be not much older... I'd feel too much like I'm being taken advantage of by people vastly older than me :P

I'm only 17. People younger than me tend to be immature, both mentally and physically. >.>

I always seem to wind up with someone younger.  All of my exes were younger than I.  Even my current GF is younger.  I am 57, she is 51.

At least she is closer.  ;D

Age has never been a consideration for me. If I feel for someone, that is all that matters.

And maturity has very little to do with age. My partner is 7 years younger than me and she is way more mature than I am. *giggles*  ;D

I have dated people 15 years older than me and my current love of three years and going strong is almost 20 years younger than me. I've always been attracted to "the person" not their appearance.

stephe; well its not nessesary about appearance, I know the look is diffrent, but the most people I talked to who either like people older or younger, often focusing on the fact of how "mature" people are and what there age do to there personalety. I am not really into guys who are younger than my own age because of the fact I felt they mostly are very unmature and just want to fit in, but I wouldn't deny one if I got proved wrong, I actually have thihi.. :-*

Well at my age someone can be 20 years younger than me and be 32 years old and quite mature. I know people older than I am that still act immature. I guess if I was 20, most younger guys would likely be either very immature or so full of hormones it would be scary to get near them :P

When I was a baby dyke, I tended to date older but not a lot older...they were usually in their early 20's.  As I moved into *my* 20's, I tended to be attracted to women in their 30's although I did have a few short-lived relationships with peeps in their early 50's.  Once I hit my 30's, then I had more relationships with people who were my age or perhaps in their 40's- the kids in their 20's just tended to have too much of an issue with income disparities.  And now that I am in my 40's, I tend to find that I am usually dating within a year or two of my own age...

But...I don't look at age initially.  It is more about finding the common interests...they either exist or they don't.  And if they aren't there, then it is not worth my time to pursue the relationship...

Most of my relationships have been with people older than me, I don't really know why that is, because honestly I don't notice any attraction difference, so maybe I was just more mature so I was more compatible with older people IDK.
