Title: Hi! & a thank you to all those who have gone before me

Hi everyone ... it's wonderful to be surrounded by so many inventive, caring, sharing people! It's a little like snuggling before the fire at a campsite.

I also want to thank everyone who's posted before me for your wisdom, your willingness to offer information (as well as your two cents), and your openness and candor.

This Chicagoan is headed to Thailand in early September for a few procedures including gcs ... I know I wouldn't be as prepared as I am if it hadn't been for all of you ... Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Val, what nice words. I'll wager you are a very nice woman. You should be so proud of yourself.

Please have a safe trip, try to relax & enjoy the sights. I'm sure you will awake so happy.

Good luck healing up, I'm sure It will take a while for you but you should know a lot of Susan's place women care about you.

Francis, Kinda new to SP, but very glad to be a member of our sorority.

It is good to meet you.
I'm across the large lake from you ;) but often go to the Chicago area to see my son and 2 of my grands.

I love the campfire imagery. Nothing like sharing a few stories and laughs around the fire. Good luck on your surgery.
