Title: Told my old roommate what's up...

It was kind of spontaneous.  I'd been thinking about telling someone for a while, and I was already heading by his place.  He had earlier confessed to me that he is bi-sexual, so I thought he might be more open to something like this.  I stopped by to see if he was in, and asked if we could talk privately.  I told him I was planning on transitioning.  He was surprised because I put on a pretty masculine front, but other than that he was really cool about it.  We talked about it for a bit and I answered some questions before I had to head out to meet up with my SO.  It seems like I might have better friends than I thought I did. 

I asked him to keep this private for now because we have some mutual friends that I work with, and I don't want work to be too uncomfortable right now.  Still, if it gets out, I'm starting to feel like it wouldn't be that big of a deal.  I don't think I know many people who would actually react as badly to this as I was afraid of.
