"There are hilarious monologues, warm ones, really dark, disturbing ones," Osorio said. "These stories are just so emotional and personal. I think everyone can see someone they know in these profiles of these women."
Osorio, a 22-year-old English major at Cal Poly, appears in one of the newer additions to "The Vagina Monologues," "They Beat the Girl Out of My Boy ... Or So They Tried." The segment, performed by five women, explores the experience of transgender women who were born male but identify as female.
