A FALKLANDS War hero who had a sex change after years of torment has found happiness - by rescuing FERRETS.

Kelly Curthoys - once a sailor called Kenneth - became an emotional wreck from living a double life as a woman in a man's body.

Now she credits caring for her furry pals for saving her.
