Despite Texas Governor Rick Perry being thrown into the mix with other GOP candidates during Wednesday night's debate, there was no discussion of LGBT rights, marriage equality, "don't ask, don't tell" and very little discussion over other social issues.

In former USSR such issues do not rise up. LGBT parades just are not possible. They are not prohibited but the permission to conduct not to be. Even in Moscow and St. Petersburg ... :(
